People tend to get a bit nervous about starting a new sport and often miss out on great oppertunity to try a new experience
because they dont want to look like a beginner or do not know where to start. Stand up paddle surfing is different, and very fast to learn. We have a great deal of experience in SUP and have devised a demo session programme (it takes 1.5hrs ) which will jet propel your SUP learning curve. You will learn a lot about equipment, board selection, and will have you hapily paddling in the beach boy style
Our resident shaper and stand up paddleboard specialist (Tim Mellors) will

- Take you and some boards to a local flat water location, normally Newquay harbour.
- demonstrate prone paddling and knee paddling with the paddle.
- a safety talk
- Then onto the stand up bit......hooray!!!
- Paddle techniques (straight line, turning, stability)
- preparing to catch waves
- surf stance
The cost of the demo session to include equipment is £30 for 1 person or £20 per person for up to max 4 persons
